I am very happy to be hosting another Scalamandre Trunk show next Saturday. We’ll be having refreshments, a raffle of a signature Scalamandre zebra print umbrella, and a look at their newest indoor/outdoor collection. It’s great that we’ll be able to offer discounts for orders placed during the event. So, if you’re in the area and having been dreaming of a particular fabric or wallpaper, next Saturday may be your day. In addition to our invite below, this blog post is full of some of my favorite Scalamandre combos.

Scalamandre has been around for 85 years. Started by Franco Scalamandre to reproduce silks for historic properties and has created most exquisite textiles for some of the best dressed homes in America. As an interior designer, I have used Scalamandre fabrics and wallpapers on many projects. Most recently here in the master bedroom of a Westhampton client. The grass cloth papers are offered in a wide array of colors and textures and are perfect for most of the coastal style interiors I create, but the patterns by Scalamandre really steal the show. As you can see from come of the groups I put together above, there is definitely a traditional feeling with most of their prints, but they have done an incredible job creating some smaller scale graphic patterns and textures that can update the look in any home, from traditional to modern.
I hope you’ll take a browse though their website and take a look at all of their collections. Tell me what you think.I’d love to hear from you.
Hope you have a Happy Fourth of July!!!,
