International Day of Color Today
Today is the first day of Spring which is a season that I associate with the departure of grey, rather colorless winter, and the arrival of beautiful colors outdoors. It seems fitting to celebrate International Day of Color which is also today. The Association Internationale de la Couleur was founded in 1967 with the goal of promoting color research and the application of the knowledge from that research. The AIC agreed on the creation of the International Day of Color in 2009 and it is celebrated in many countries. To celebrate both Spring and color, I am sharing the best of Fermob, the line of French outdoor furniture that we’ve been carrying at Sea Green Designs since distribution began in the US 15 years ago.
Hope these favorite Fermob images inspire you with their color and incredible design. Just seemed the perfect thing to post on this first day of Spring, and I love that it happens to be an International Day of Color. Feel free to contact us if you are interested in any of the pieces in this post. With most of this great line of outdoor furniture being available in 23 colors, the options are almost endless. Our early stock shipment just came in, and I hope to share some images of our latest display in the next post.
Tell me what you think of this line. I’d love to hear your thoughts. Did you know there was an International Day of Color? I was glad to hear it since color can have a big impact on our lives. What’s your favorite color? I’d love to know why.
