Contrasting Interiors

One of my favorite ways finish the  interior of a bookcase or cupboard is with a contrasting color. This is a great way to set-off items on display or pull the color of the room onto the furnishings.

A great look for kitchen cabinets.
A favorite color combo, white and sea green.
A pretty, pale blue bookcase interior pulls in the color of the dining chairs.
The pale green of the beadboard back and shelf interior makes me think mint juleps. (via Martha O’Hara Interiors)
